hello new reader

Welcome to my blog! My name is Maura and I write about food, and everything that has something to do with food. Wanna know more about me? Read my about page.

If you read on, you can find a short introduction to the most important areas of my blog. You will also find my personal favorites!

All entries are written in Dutch. Most of the graphics are in English because google translate won’t translate them. If you want to translate the blog you can click HERE. It will translate my blog in English. From now on you can translate it to other languages or you can learn a new language. It’s not perfect, but hey, it works!

Most of the time I write about food that is so good that I want to share it with the rest of the world. You can find all the recipes HERE or you can take a look at the recipes at the recipe lookbook. I like to do things from scratch, so you will also find a lot of homemade recipes on the blog.

At other times I write about the best places I have been, so called hotspots. HERE you can find little great places all over the world you really should visit when you’re around.

Once a month I post a recipe that I find typical for that month, also known as the recipe of the month.

In 2014 based on my resolutions I started a new project: the epic burger project. For this year I made the resolution to eat more burgers. Not bad right? So every month I try to create a new try-before-you-die burger you should eat. And no, it won’t be meat all the time. How about a beetburger or risottoburger? You can find the burger project HERE.

Last but not least I like to test new recipes from readers. So if you have something special that you wanna share, send me an email and I will try it out, eat it and post it. HERE you can find the recipes I’ve already tested. Besides that, I also like to test kitchentools. Are they really useful or rather a luxurious item? HERE you can read the reviews of kitchentools.

And, of course, I looooove cookbooks. You can never have enough of them, right? HERE you can find review of cookbooks and recommendations.

Finally, on the right side you’ll find some of my personal favorites.

Well. That’s it. Hope you’ll like it.
